Feeling Inspired | Old Hollywood Inspiration Shoot | Maui Wedding Photographer

And so, I did my first inspiration shoot. (you might recognize this shoot… it’s the shoot featured in my promo released a few days ago) I worked with an incredible team of people… quite easily the BEST vendors on Maui. So take a look at the vendor list below, and if you’re a bride… just go book them. Go book them all. I’m not kidding. Go. Now.

Just a little behind the scenes info; we did not get to do about 90% of what we planned to do for this shoot. Why? The wind. Would you believe there were gail force winds this day? No joke. Like, can’t put the food out or it will blow off the table winds. Like the models arrived and I was like “don’t get out of the car… don’t even role down the windows until it’s go time”.

It blew. Literally and figuratively. And that, my friends, only adds to why I say, with complete confidence, that these vendors are THE BEST on Maui. Because when you look at these photos, you don’t see wind. You see awesome. And that is a testament not only to their talents, but to their tenacity. Because your wedding, like your life, may present some things that you didn’t expect. But it’s all good when you surround yourself with people who can take any situation and turn it into a positive. And that’s exactly what we did.
