Meet Trish Barker

Hi, I'm Trish. I grew up on the East Coast (just outside of Boston and New York City) and moved to Maui 8 years ago. I love the beauty of Maui and it's gorgeous beaches and sunsets, but I'm an East Coast girl at heart.

I like a fast paced life, I'm motivated by stress and do my best work under pressure.

I know what I want (and what my clients want) and I make sure I make that happen.

I get things done. Period.

I like my photos to be like my life. Clean is great, but a little bit messy is "real" and that's where the sweet spot is. So if you want me to fix your hair 90 times a minute... or if you want stiff, cookie cutter poses, I'm not the photographer for you.

I don't mince words. I say what's on my mind (sometimes with this really bizarre Boston/New York combination accent). So if you're a tool... I'm probably not the photographer for you. :)

My love of cheese and lattes totally trumps my lactose intolerance. So if you're planning an all-cheese and latte spread for your wedding I'm DEFINITELY the photographer for you... I'll just need to bring a second shooter...

I once walked through the lobby of the Four Seasons Resort after a maternity shoot looking like a shake-n-baked chicken, fully clothed, soaking wet and covered with sand. My point? If you're not afraid to get wet, or roll in the sand, or be a bit adventurous, I'm totally the photographer for you.

I believe the biggest gift you can give your photographer, besides your business, is your trust. If we're a good fit, know that I will connect with you, listen to you and do my best to know exactly what you want and deliver exactly that. If you're ready to work with a photographer who you can completely trust, so you can breathe and just enjoy your day to it's fullest, I'm definitely the photographer for you...
